Design guidance for Comfort

​At the ACT meeting on 15th December we discussed comfort and coherence of Crewe's cycle routes.
Cycling Levels of Service  CLoS been designed as part of the London Cycling Design Standards. It based on the six design outcomes: DACCAS
Directness, Attractiveness, Coherence, Comfort, Adaptability, SafetyA valuable tool to assess this has . Details and instructions can be found at

We also discussed comfort levels for pedestrians, again London leads the way. obvously their pavements are mainly more crowded but usuful comparisons could be made with the pinchpoints such as by the station Take a look at their comfort guidance
